Shakespeare
Wert thou a man a being such as we
Impossible for man from among us
Could be deep before soul
And be so little of mortality!
Was there no difference between us – no, none?
Were we 2 beings of the same kind
Hadst thou not somewhat of the air and sun
Were we not to thee a mean, cold and blind,
Thy voice was as a music, yet more clean
To human sense as subtle unseen
To our more earthly being
Thou art the fast {…} of things impossible
Thou wert as music-conscious music speaking
And as our minds miraculously wreaking
The conscious magic of a heart-born spell.
