The sense of greatness when it falls upon us

What is out independence? The mere sense

Distinct, a body-mute soul pretence

That need each other to be wholes and linked thought
These are but words; but souls are words of God.
These are but images, but so is the word.
How where I stand and think on the above
Of mine own self, her do I err
